I had several filers to wait right until the last minute. I got them out on time. They were all grateful and should have been. With the exception of one who was battling some health issues, most of the others were just procrastinating.
Maybe tomorrow PTIN registration will begin.
Tax topics and Genealogy to boot. (Enrolled Agents are a hybrid between a CPA and a lawyer. They are very specialized in the area of income taxation. Enrolled Agents are required to pass a written exam and obtain at least 75 hours of continuing education over a three year period. Enrolled agents are allowed to represent clients at all levels of the IRS. Their specific training makes them a wise choice for individual filing.)

Yes, It is October
I've been away from my blog too long, I know. My last blog spoke of the approaching filing deadline of October 16. I've had to advise one client who assured me he would be ready shortly. Well, here we are on October 1 and he has not shown up yet. He is a good client with excellent records but I would prefer adequate breathing room.
One client who has not filed in three years dropped off her returns. Another told me they moved to Florida but would continue to work with me through the mail. I have had several CP2000 issues lately. I seem to have them ironed out.
It is the start of the second season. January will be here before I know it.
