Tax topics and Genealogy to boot. (Enrolled Agents are a hybrid between a CPA and a lawyer. They are very specialized in the area of income taxation. Enrolled Agents are required to pass a written exam and obtain at least 75 hours of continuing education over a three year period. Enrolled agents are allowed to represent clients at all levels of the IRS. Their specific training makes them a wise choice for individual filing.)

Tax Season, January 29, 2012
Tax season has started but not quite in earnest. I'm starting to have a few early birds. The flow won't start until W-2s and 1099s are issued. February will see the flow of regular filers with March being taken up by more complicated returns, especially corporate.
Yikes, Where have I been? January 29, 2012
December 3 was the last time I posted? Blame in on Twitter. Since then we had a major and minor holiday.
My son William came in from San Francisco on Dec. 22 and flew back out on the 31st. Had a great time with him here. He is moving form the Richmond district down to the Mission district near Bryant Street.
The weather has been really good in December and January with only a trace of snow and temperatures unseasonably warm.
